DC Luxe Design Soft Launch Party

DC Luxe Design is a start-up interior design company located in Hamden, CT. After being in business for five years they are shifting their business model from being a retail location selling small home goods to focusing on being an interior design showroom with an accompanying website. With their upcoming website they are utilizing 3D rendering and modeling technology to create room scenes so users can visualize the completed the space. Also, it their showroom they are utilizing virtual reality so customers can see fully designed rooms before making a purchase. On August 30, 2017 DC Luxe Design had a Soft Launch Party to introduce this new business model. Below are the various graphic assets I created for the launch party.

I utilized Infusionsoft a CRM and automated marketing software to create campaigns for both the invite and thank you emails. The invite consisted of an initial email with all the details about the event. From this email it sent the user to an RSVP form when they clicked on the link. By using Infusionsoft we were able to track whether the user said yes or no and if they had a guest attending. After the user completed the RSVP form there was a confirmation email and one day before the event there was a reminder email. The thank you consisted a single email with a link to the company’s YouTube channel. By using Infusionsoft we were able to track how many users clicked on the link.

Along with the invite I created a website landing page with the event details. I utilized a pre-designed website template and edited the html and css in order to fit our needs. We sent the landing page to guests through email broadcast using Infusionsoft and were able to track information such as how long users were on the page, the web browser the were using and the date they visited.

I designed two printed resources for the launch party. The first one was an events schedule detailing the timeline of the party. I kept the schedule similar in design with the emails and printed it on white card-stock. I also created a flip book for the party that showed designs created by the interior designers based on various themes. Each theme had an inspirational moodboard with a description, a product moodboard, and 3D rendered room scenes. I utilized existing assets (inspirational moodboards with descriptions and 3D rendered room scenes) with new assets that I created (product moodboards) to create the layout of the flip book. The cover I had printed on white card-stock and laminated. The interior pages were doubled sided and printed on glossy text.

Finally I created a Snapchat Geofilter for the event that included the name of the company (DC Luxe Design), the location (Hamden) and the name of their business model (Livable Luxury Home).
