For my color and trend forecasting book I choose to do a women’s accessory collection with a focus on hats. In the book I had to create trends for four different looks that included sunhat, fedoras, snapbacks and derby hats. For each look I had to create two spreads or four pages. The first spread had the name for that trend, a brief description, inspiration photos and graphics and buzz words. The second spread showed the product, fabric used, buzz words and inspiration photos and graphics. Also at the beginning of the book there was a trend overview which gave a feel of each look with some inspiration photos and colors used. Then at the end of the book was the trend recap, which showed the products and fabrics featured in each look. The layout of the book was created in InDesign and I utlized Photoshop to adjust the colors in the inspiration photos and graphics so it matched each look.
